The settlement process can also be complicated with lots of moving parts that require attention before a real estate purchase or refinancing can be completed. Because effective communication is a key component to any settlement, we work closely with real estate agents, lenders, insurers and others to make certain that all necessary information is collected and reviewed as far in advance of the settlement date as possible. We strive to keep in close contact with our clients, lenders and real estate agents to make sure that we understand every nuance and issue that may affect the settlement process and our client’s interests. We also encourage our clients to reach out and contact us with any questions or concerns that they may have and to receive an update about the status of their purchase or financing.
Finally, we offer convenience. Upon request and for no additional charge, the firm will conduct settlements at its offices in either Ocean View or Georgetown, the office of the lending institution, the real estate firm involved, if any, or at the client’s home or office.
